Pediatric RN- School Substitute Nurse (Per Diem)- Morris County at Affirmed Home Care – Morristown, New Jersey

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem opportunities in Morris County, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatric care and enjoy building meaningful, long-term relationships with students.

We currently have immediate needs for substitute school nursing assignments throughout Morris County. In this role, you will support a variety of short-term and long-term school nurse requests, working with students across all age groups.

Additional opportunities include one-on-one school nursing cases and bus run assignments.

• Perform student health assessments and monitor ongoing conditions

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies

• Collaborate and communicate with members of the student’s multidisciplinary care team

• Maintain and manage medical supplies and equipment

• Respond to and manage medical emergencies in a school setting

• Active New Jersey RN License

• 1 year of pediatric nursing experience in home care or acute care preferred

• Current BLS Certification

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Physical exam within the past 12 months

• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)

• Proof of MMR immunization within 10 years

• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption
