ABOUT US:
Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Counselor IV will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field
- Specific alcoholism/drug counseling training with internship period
- Two to four years of experience in a chemical dependency treatment setting or specialty mental health practice.
- Alaska licensure as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire.
