The core responsibilities of this role include, support and disciplines for establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. The Quality Control Technician ensures compliance with quality standards and customer requirements by performing daily QA activities, audits, and inspections. This role supports operational excellence through document review, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and execution of quality inspections. Responsibilities include cold chain compliance checks, packaging inspections, and safe handling of materials up to 50 lbs.
Position: First (1st) Shift Quality Technician II
Shift: 7:00 am –3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $22.25 per hour
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Comfortable working in warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature changes, standing for long periods) Perform daily QA activities as directed by management, conduct routine audits, including item/lot verification, cycle counts, and line clearance, perform packaging inspections, ensuring cold chain compliance, review team documents and instructions for accuracy and clarity. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations to drive quality initiatives. Recommend methods to ensure quality assurance compliance across site operations.Safely lift and move items up to 50 lbs during inspections and operational tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Purpose:
Execute assigned tasks to support establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform Quality audits, inspections and documentation.
- Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.
- Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback.
- Support QA training for new and existing associates.
- Support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities.
- Work with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams to progress Quality initiatives.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of forklift training program with the first 30 days of employment
- Associate degree or equivalent in related field of study, preferred
