This role assists with planning, organizing, and coordinating projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering groups. The ideal candidate brings structure to complexity, communicates clearly, and helps keep projects moving forward in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support project planning and coordination for cross-departmental initiatives from kickoff through completion
• Help define project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and documentation needs
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment, gather updates, and facilitate timely decision-making

• Monitor project progress, track changes, and assist in preparing status updates for leadership and project teams
• Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, documenting action items, and ensuring follow-through
• Contribute to process improvement efforts by documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting solution development
• Ensure project activities align with company priorities, operational capacity, and customer commitments
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
• Experience coordinating projects or supporting cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details and multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization
• Ability to distill complex information into clear summaries, plans, and next steps
• Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Familiarity with project management tools, timelines, and tracking methods (formal or informal)
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships and influence without authority
Work Environment: This role is based at Van’s Aircraft in Aurora, Oregon, with regular interaction across office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments. The Project Coordinator will work closely with leadership and frontline teams in a highly collaborative, hands-on setting. Some projects may require time spent on the shop floor or coordinating across departments to ensure real-world execution aligns with project plans.
