We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our team and support the preconstruction process from start to finish. This role requires working closely with the estimating team to review bid documents, track requirements, and coordinate subcontractor and vendor outreach. About the Role:
As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the estimating team through organization, administration, and document management. You will help ensure all bid-related materials are accurate, up to date, and properly distributed. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to keep complex processes running smoothly, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the organization and distribution of bidding documents, including plans, specifications, exhibits, preconstruction RFIs, compliance documentation, and addendums.
- Review bid documents and identify key requirements and deadlines.
- Solicit and track subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Prepare bid packages and compile applicable supporting documentation.
- Schedule meetings, publish meeting minutes, and distribute documents and directives to the estimating team.
- Maintain organized bid files, document revision control, and accurate record keeping.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in construction project management, estimating, bid coordination, or related field; and/or bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or similar discipline.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficient in BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, AutoCAD (viewing).
- Skills: Strong technical reading and writing skills; objective thinking and problem solving; excellent organization and attention to detail; effective communication.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, communicative, efficient, discerning, resourceful, and focused.
Position:
- Reports to Senior Vice President of Preconstruction
Physical Requirements:
- Desk and computer-based work.
- Lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Work in a growing and supportive environment.
