General Manager Oversee Residential Remodeling Operations, Growth, and Team Performance
Job OverviewCompany: LG Building and Remodeling LLC.
Salary/Pay Rate: $85,000$105,000 per year (depending on experience).
Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonus potential
Location: Oxford, CT.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Project Scope: Residential Remodeling, Handyman Services, and Kitchen Design/Build.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
You will serve as the operational leader across multiple divisions, bringing essential structure and momentum to a growing residential remodeling business. This role offers the chance to oversee every moving part of the organization, from production and scheduling to financial coordination and sales support. Your leadership will directly drive efficiency, enhance the client experience, and ensure long-term profitability.
How You Will Make an ImpactOversee daily operations across multiple business lines including remodeling, kitchens, and handyman services.
Manage and improve internal workflows across production, scheduling, sales support, estimating follow-up, and office operations.
Partner with ownership to ensure leads, proposals, and customer follow-up are moving consistently through the pipeline.
Monitor project schedules and team capacity to help keep jobs on track and reduce delays.
Coordinate communication between office staff, field teams, subcontractors, and ownership.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to help maintain strong cash flow and vendor relationships.
Support estimating and production management by ensuring quotes, approvals, job starts, and change orders are progressing appropriately.
Track key business metrics including job volume, close ratio, backlog, collections, and operational efficiency.
Help strengthen sales and marketing processes by ensuring inquiries are followed up on and opportunities are not falling through the cracks.
Develop systems and accountability measures that improve consistency across all divisions.
Assist in hiring coordination, team oversight, and performance management for administrative and operational staff.
Serve as a central point of leadership to help the business scale without losing quality or responsiveness.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership or operations management experience in residential construction or remodeling.
Extensive knowledge of residential project flow, scheduling, and construction operations.
Proven experience overseeing cross-functional departments including sales support and financial coordination.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, vendors, and subcontractors effectively.
Proficiency in business systems such as Excel, CRM platforms, and project tracking software.
Prior experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager within the design/build industry.
Specific expertise in kitchen and bath renovation workflows.
Experience scaling a small business through the development of structured systems.
Background in job costing support or basic financial reporting.
