About the Role:


Contract Contingency Notice: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment offers will be extended only upon successful contract award and client approval. Candidates may be considered and interviewed in advance to support rapid onboarding should the contract be awarded.

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive reliability,

observability, and automation across large-scale hybrid cloud environments. This role focuses

on improving uptime, reducing mean time to recovery (MTTR), streamlining incident

management, and supporting large-scale cloud migrations. You will work across Azure, AWS,

and on-prem environments, building resilient infrastructure and ensuring mission-critical

applications meet strict availability and performance standards.

What you’ll bring:

● Strong background in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.

● Deep experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.

● Hands-on expertise with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar).

● Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.

● Solid scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

● Familiarity with the VA ecosystem—especially VA Platform One, enterprise GitHub

practices, VA.gov standards, or DevSecOps models— is a plus. 

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

● Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage dependencies, and deliver in complex

environments.

● Experience working in Agile development environments.

● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

● Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal

obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment

with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised,

actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $120,000 – $160,000
