About This Position
Description:
Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager oversees the planning and execution of the marketing strategy including: public relations, events, education, social media and graphics. Reports directly to the Marketing and Retail Director. directly oversees the social media and graphic design managers.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with store leadership to develop and implement marketing strategies and budgets that boost visibility and drive sales across retail and restaurant operations.
- Creates the monthly promotion grid and helps design the layout and promotional spots in the store with saleable merchandise.
- Collaborates interdepartmentally to plan and execute in-store, public and private events
- Creates and executes monthly market newsletter
- Oversees and executes guest membership program with General Manager of Retail
- Manages relationships with Pearl entities, Giant Noise, celebrity chefs, business partners, producers, local organizations, public entities
- Oversees online feedback and liaises with departments to manage escalations effectively.
- Protects the brand and ensures marketing activities and promotions are properly communicated both internally and externally through graphics and PR content
- Analyzes performance and reports progress to senior leadership
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Develops departmental goals and leads a team of managers
- Sets work goals with the team to set organizational expectations, monitor the progress of their duties and performance, coach and mentor their leadership skills, and conduct performance reviews at the 30/60/90 day marks, followed by bi-annual reviews.
- Ensures top-tier service and turns guest complaints into lasting loyalty.
- Be a leader in hospitality, radiate warmth on the floor, set the example for your team
- Build lasting relationships with our guests by making connections.
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
- Oversee the execution of in-house events with the Events Team.
- Ensure that any HR documentation is accurate, complete, and stored properly, and that SOPs are followed.

Personal Requirements:
- Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and pleasant, approachable nature
- Ability to lead by example with a neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to motivate employees to work as a team and maintain engagement
- Must be a problem solver and multi-tasker, able to handle the pressures of coordinating restaurant operations and staff while finding appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
- Must possess good communication skills
- Posses a can-do, team-oriented, flexible attitude
Working Conditions:
- A typical work week for this position is 50-50 hours. Hours may vary in season.
- The majority of the day is spent on a computer.
