About This Position
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. This leadership role ensures productivity, safety, and accuracy by coordinating staff, maintaining inventory integrity, and driving continuous improvement. The Warehouse Supervisor acts as the key link between warehouse associates and management, ensuring that operational goals and customer expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, schedule, and train warehouse staff to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory management systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with shipments, inventory discrepancies, and customer orders.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, production, transportation) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, enforcing 5S or lean principles when applicable.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.
Qualifications:
• 3 - 5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 - 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or ERP systems.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
• Must wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.

Preferred Skills/Certifications:
• Experience with lean warehousing, 5S, or Six Sigma principles.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in diverse team environments.
• First Aid/CPR or OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
