**This is a hybrid role and requires presence in our Denver Office twice a week (Local Candidates Only)**

The Opportunity

We’re a growing SaaS company building scalable, modern platforms that power operations for customers in the orthodontic industry. Our technology stack includes .NET, React, Angular, and distributed backend services, and we’re actively evolving toward an AI-first engineering culture.

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who can lead multiple teams, drive operational excellence, and build strong engineering leadership while delivering high-impact initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role where the Senior Engineering Manager is expected to remain close to the technology, contributing to the codebase approximately 20–30% of the time while leading teams and driving delivery.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape critical product areas while influencing our broader engineering strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to build and mentor strong engineering teams, partner closely with product leaders in a highly collaborative culture, and play a key role in driving innovation across our platform.

In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact in a growing SaaS company while helping us continue to evolve and scale our engineering organization.

What You’ll DoLeadership & DeliveryLead multiple engineering teams or a cross-functional group working on critical product areas.Own delivery, talent development, and resource utilization across teams.Drive execution of projects impacting multiple functional areas with a 12–24 month impact horizon.Align team priorities with company and functional strategy.Solve complex, ambiguous, cross-team challenges with sound technical and organizational judgment.Operational ExcellenceOwn operational effectiveness, quality, and cost management within budget constraints.Establish predictable delivery using Agile best practices and continuous improvement.Manage offshore staff-augmentation teams and ensure successful integration with onshore teams.Track metrics for productivity, reliability, and customer impact.People & Organizational LeadershipCoach engineering managers and senior ICs to grow future leaders.Build a strong leadership bench and foster team cohesion.Own hiring, performance management, and career development for direct reports.Hold cross-functional teams accountable and resolve conflict constructively.Influence peers across Product and other functions.Technology & StrategyDrive development in our core stack: .NET, React, Angular, and backend services.Champion an AI-first engineering mindset (AI-assisted development, automation, intelligent tooling).Partner with product leadership to execute on long-term strategy.What We’re Looking ForRequired8–12+ years in software engineering with 3–5+ years managing multiple teams.Experience delivering large-scale SaaS products in a modern stack (.NET + React/Angular + services).Proven experience managing offshore and distributed engineering teams.Strong Agile leadership and track record of consistent delivery.Experience coaching managers and building high-performing teams.Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage conflict constructively.Experience managing budgets, resourcing, and operational efficiency.PreferredExperience driving AI-enabled engineering practices.Experience scaling engineering orgs in high-growth SaaS companies.Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and DevOps practices.Success in This Role Looks LikeMultiple teams delivering predictably with high quality.Strong leadership bench and improved team engagement.Successful offshore integration delivering critical initiatives.Measurable improvements in velocity, reliability, and cost efficiency.Teams adopting AI-first development practices.Multiple teams delivering predictably with high quality.Strong leadership bench and improved team engagement.Successful offshore integration delivering critical initiatives.Measurable improvements in velocity, reliability, and cost efficiency.Teams adopting AI-first development practices.

Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000k annually
