We are seeking a Community Outreach & Partnerships Associate to serve as a visible, relationship-driven ambassador in the SW West Virginia reason and surrounding territories.
This is a field-based with 75% travel, execution-focused role designed for someone who thrives on activity, relationship building, and disciplined follow-through.
Position SummaryThe Community Outreach & Partnerships Associate supports the Director of Experience, Culture, and Community Partnerships by executing day-to-day outreach efforts. This role is responsible for maintaining consistent contact with referral sources, increasing community engagement, and strengthening Wise Path’s visibility across assigned territories.
This position focuses on activity execution, relationship maintenance, CRM discipline, and professional representation in the field.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReferral Relationship DevelopmentConduct regular outreach to referral sources via calls, in-person visits, and email
Schedule and complete weekly in-person visits within assigned territory
Maintain consistent follow-up with active and dormant referral partners
Identify opportunities to reactivate inactive relationships
Track all outreach interactions in CRM or designated tracking system
Attend resource fairs, networking events, and partnership meetings
Coordinate and host facility tours for community partners
Distribute program materials and educational resources
Represent Wise Path professionally in the field at all times
Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with service lines
Communicate potential referral activity to the Admissions team promptly
Follow up professionally with referral sources regarding admission outcomes (as appropriate)
Identify and escalate referral barriers to the Director
Provide feedback on market trends impacting admissions volume
Submit weekly outreach activity reports
Track key metrics including:
Outreach touches
In-person visits
New referral sources added
Reactivated referral partners
Provide market feedback and competitor intelligence
Contribute to territory growth strategy discussions
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ year experience in healthcare outreach, behavioral health, sales, or community engagement preferred
Experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health services strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Proficiency with CRM systems or activity tracking tools preferred
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Confident, professional public-facing presence
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-directed and comfortable working independently in the field
Strong follow-through and accountability
Resilient and motivated by activity metrics
Mission-aligned with recovery and community impact
Primarily field-based within assigned geographic territory
Regular travel to community partners, referral sources, and events
Occasional evening or weekend events as needed
Office-based administrative time for reporting and CRM documentation
Success in this role will be measured by:
Consistency of outreach activity
Growth in active referral relationships
Reactivation of dormant partners
CRM accuracy and reporting discipline
Professional representation of Wise Path in the community
This is not a passive role. It requires proactive engagement, consistent follow-through, and disciplined execution.
CompensationThe base compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 This range reflects Wise Path Recovery Centers’ good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site and field presence to support collaboration, community engagement, and cross-functional partnership.
