Maintenance Generalist

Work Location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244
Work Hours: Full-Time: Thursday - Friday OR Friday - Tuesday 8 Hour Day Shifts

Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
Education
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required (Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1, 2003, will be grandfathered with existing education).
Experience
• 1 Year Maintenance in commercial or industrial environment required.
• 1 Year in a Healthcare environment preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
• DL - Driver's License Upon Hire required.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days required.
Skills:
• Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
• Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs.
• Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation.
• The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.
• Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
What You Will Do:
• Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
• Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
