About This Position

Vehicle Rental Specialist
LAG Rentals, LLC (Hertz) – Manhattan, KS
LAG Rentals, LLC is seeking reliable, self-motivated Part Time Vehicle Rental Specialist to support our Hertz rental fleet. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
Position Overview:
Approximately 60% of this role involves vacuuming, cleaning, detailing vehicles, and preparing cars for re-rental. The remaining 40% involves customer service and rental operations.
Primary Duties:
  • Clean, vacuum, and detail rental vehicles
  • Prepare vehicles for re-rental (fuel checks, inspections, parking/moving vehicles)
  • Perform cleaning of vehicles in all weather conditions
  • Facilitate rental agreements with customers
  • Verify valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
  • Operate rental software accurately
  • Provide professional and friendly customer service
  • Manage and track fleet activity
  • Communicate daily activity with management
  • Promote and grow rental business
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift 30+ lbs.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
