Job Summary:
Rytec Electric is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a New Construction - Assistant Coordinator. This role involves supporting the New Construction Coordinator, managing scheduling, permits, inspections, and ensuring effective communication between builders, subcontractors, and field supervisors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth execution of administrative operations within our New Construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with New Construction scheduling and coordination.

  • Call in permits and inspections, ensuring accurate communication to field teams.

  • Collaborate with builders and field supervisors to align on schedules and expectations.

  • Manage warranty scheduling and communication to ensure timely resolutions.

  • Assist in processing subcontractor payments and communicating expectations.

  • Check builder portals for updates and maintain relevant project documentation.

  • Enter pull sheets and coordinate with Purchasing on material needs.

  • Handle extra purchase orders and billable warranty entries, ensuring proper communication.

  • Undertake special projects as assigned by the Coordinator or Vice President.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Familiarity with scheduling, permits, or inspections in a construction or related field is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including builders, field supervisors, and subcontractors.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and builder portals is preferred.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
