About This Position
Additional responsibilities include developing Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions inventories; supporting clients with data collection, emissions calculations, and methodological documentation; and ensuring inventories align with applicable protocols, standards, and best practices. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams and clients, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Cameron Cole’s GHG accounting and verification services.
Compensation: $75,000 - $130,000 Annually
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage GHG emissions inventory verifications in accordance with ARB, TCR, and other applicable reporting programs
- Develop Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions inventories, including collection, calculations, preparation of documentation
- Ensure all GHG inventories and verification activities align with relevant protocols, including the WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ARB MRR, and other applicable standards
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical guidance, support data quality improvements, and contribute to continuous improvement of GHG accounting and verification services.
Skills and Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of GHG accounting and verification standards, including the WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ARB MRR, and TCR program requirements.
- Strong analytical and data evaluation skills, including the ability to assess large datasets, perform emissions calculations, and ensure data accuracy and methodological consistency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for preparing technical documentation, communicating findings, and collaborating with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office tools, with the ability to develop and manage complex spreadsheets, methodological summaries, and verification workpapers.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, business, statistics, mathematics, environmental policy, economics, or financial auditing; Master’s degree preferred
- 3 to 10 years of related professional experience
- GHG inventory and/or verification experience required
- Knowledge of GHG programs, protocols, and regulations, including ARB; TCR; WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol; ISO 14064
- Excellent oral and written skills required
- Advanced experience using MS Excel spreadsheets
- Proficient with MS Office

Work Environment
The position operates in a dynamic and highly collaborative work environment. We are dedicated to providing our staff with opportunities to work from home, hybrid, and/or in-office whenever possible. This position can be performed anywhere in the US, with a potential for occasional travel.
