S.I.N. 360 is seeking a dynamic, detail-driven, and strategically minded leader to oversee Digital Solutions’ technical support. We are seeking a Digital Solutions Lab Manager & Technical Lead with a passion for advanced dental technology, CAD/CAM workflows, and equipment optimization, especially milling machines. This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and validating digital dental manufacturing systems within our Tempe-based lab and demonstration environment, while providing remote technical support to customers nationwide.
The Digital Solutions Lab Technician is responsible for equipment operation, testing, maintenance, and customer support related to digital dental solutions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, workflow efficiency, and successful customer adoption of S.I.N. 360 digital technologies. As well as being part of R&D initiatives, working with other departments and suppliers to support the company’s product and process development.
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our teams—and the clinicians we serve—are equipped with the strongest product understanding, the most accurate materials, and the best training ecosystem in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
In-Office
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot:
o 5-axis dental milling machines
o Sintering ovens
o Resin Based 3D printers
o Photogrammetry Technology
• Perform calibration, validation, and performance testing of equipment
• Maintain on-site demonstration and test rooms
• Create, execute, and document test cases for product performance and workflow validation for existing solutions & new solutions
• Assist customers with dental CAD/CAM workflows, including:
o Nesting strategies
o CAM software optimization
o Milling parameters and material selection
o Maintenance of CNC machines to ensure long-term sustainability of production
• Provide remote technical support via phone, video, and ticketing systems
• Support internal teams with technical insights, testing feedback, and workflow improvements
Travel:
• Travel to customer sites is required for equipment support, training, or installations
• Provide professional, customer-focused technical assistance in clinical or laboratory settings.
• Attend a few industry events per year, including the annual Lad Day Chicago, to ensure we are in line with the latest technology offerings and lead recommendations on new potential technology to bring into our 360 ecosystems.
Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as a lab technician, technical support specialist, or similar role (dental or medical device experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience with dental CAD systems such as Exocad, 3Shape (highly desirable), or Hyperdent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with dental manufacturing equipment (milling, printing, sintering preferred)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
