VIBE Day Spa & Salon located in Basking Ridge, NJ is a high-end, luxury wellness destination dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience rooted in relaxation, beauty, and elevated hospitality.
Vibe Hair Salon and Spa is an upscale certified Kerastase Salon looking to add a Part-time Massage Therapist who will also fill in at the front desk to our friendly and professional team at the gorgeous 3,500 sq foot salon Excellent communication skills are a must as well as the ability to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. We are interested in speaking to individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Our modern facility with high end premium products with a chill atmosphere, will give you and your clients an experience unlike anywhere else!
We offer a full comprehensive training program.
Salon hours Tue-Sat (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
Administer scheduled massage treatments in accordance with spa protocols and industry best practices.
Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing consistent, professional massage services tailored to each client's needs.
Conduct thorough client assessments, including medical history, to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Listen actively to clients and adjust massage techniques and pressure levels as needed to enhance their experience.
Assist with spa operations as required, including scheduling appointments, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
Adhere to standard operating procedures for record-keeping, time management, and service delivery.
Promote spa services, retail products, and special promotions to clients.
Inspire and motivate clients to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
Requirements:
Valid state of New Jersey massage therapy license.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional Massage Therapist.
Previous experience in a spa or therapy center environment is preferred.
Ability to perform massage services effectively on diverse clientele.
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
Candidates should be skilled, reliable, aspire to succeed, and be able to engage with our professional team and clientele. Client satisfaction is our top priority.

Position Requirements:
- Must hold and maintain a current state of New Jersey massage therapist license
- 4-month experience in a similar role
- Ability to perform all services on diverse clients.
- Must enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.

In this role you will be working in a positive environment with a professional staff who have expansive knowledge in the industry. In return, you will be offered competitive compensation based on experience, opportunity for product commissions, room to grow, part time position of 15-28 hours
