Key Account Manager
Wholesale - Bowling Green, KY
Job Description
We're seeking a self-motivated Key Account Manager to join our team. Inked Brands works with niche brands to scale their businesses by analyzing and optimizing product assortment for both ecommerce and wholesale sales channels. Our team is fun, creative, and willing to take smart risks.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and growing key account relationships, driving communication with buyers, and assisting with sales execution during peak seasons. You will play a key role in maintaining strong account engagement while also identifying opportunities for new partnerships and growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys building relationships to drive results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Support and manage key account relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.
· Maintain consistent communication with key account buyers, including regularly emailing sell sheets, catalogs, and product updates.
· Assist with the sales process during busy seasons – engage opportunities, follow up on orders, and help drive conversions.
· Proactively communicate with accounts regarding product availability, promotions, and order status.
· Identify and pursue growth opportunities by networking and developing new partnerships within the wholesale channel.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, inventory alignment, and customer support.
· Prepare for, attend, and support trade shows and sales events (travel required up to approximately 6 weeks per year).
· Work with the marketing team to support account-specific needs and promotional efforts.
· Monitor account performance and assist in identifying opportunities for growth.
· Maintain accurate records and data within ERP and sales systems.
· Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
· Contribute to and support a positive, creative, and collaborative culture.
· Continuously improve efficiency, communication, and work product.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
· Post-secondary degree preferred but not required.
· Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer support preferred.
· Experience in wholesale, ecommerce, or the gift industry is a plus.
· Comfortable using ERP software such as NetSuite and/or Brandwise/MarketTime.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Communication– Self-confident with strong communication skills. Great listener, able to build and maintain relationships with buyers.
