About This Position
Centennial Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Process Reengineer with a strong finance background to support a fast-paced federal client. The individual should have proven extensive knowledge and success with business process re-engineering, performing a critical part in improving the organization’s operational effectiveness and efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement, implementing automation solutions, and providing data-driven insights.
The Business Process Reengineer will conduct comprehensive assessments of financial processes, support automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to modernize financial operations. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in federal financial environments.
Requirements:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Leverage industry best practices such as Lean Six Sigma for process improvement, including data integration, automation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation.
- Create current state process documentation, develop the future state, and perform a gap analysis.
- Assist with measuring process performance by conducting data analysis, developing performance metrics, and generating reports to assess the success of implemented improvements.
- Provide internal Notices for Findings and Recommendations (iNFRs) and internal control strengthening activities support.
- Support process, documentation, and internal-control remediation activities related to PP&E and transferred assets, Leases and leasehold improvements, Pension balances, Fund Balance with Treasury, Accounts Payable, accruals, and travel/card programs, and Required Supplementary Information (RSI).
- Collaborate in developing a robust governance process to ensure the effective management and control of automated or RPA solutions.
- Document end-to-end business processes, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and desktop guides, as necessary.
- Continuously monitor and improve financial processes to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Analyze and forecast resource requirements, considering constraints and requirements established by the Agency, OMB, and other relevant entities.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and financial management standards.
- Develop requirements for RPA automation annually to automate manual tasks and streamline data processing within the client’s financial systems. This may vary in complexity and often requires coordination with multiple external systems and a basic understanding of related accounting procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–6 years of experience in business process analysis and reengineering focused on federal financials.
- Must have federal financial experience with a proven track record of identifying and implementing successful process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Expertise in documenting current state, developing future state based on industry best practices, and performing gap analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools.
- Experience utilizing process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of RPA principles and concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional work ethic, working well under pressure to meet strict deadlines, using time productively, maximizing efficiency, and meeting challenging work goals.
- Utilizing project management software and technologies, such as Microsoft Project, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any Six Sigma certification, such as a Black Belt, is desired but not required.
