Quality Plus Services Inc. (QPS) is seeking an experienced and driven Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on industrial construction projects in the Petersburg, VA area. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining production schedules, and delivering high-quality electrical installations in complex industrial environments.
The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on industrial electrical experience along with proven supervisory skills. This role requires strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards, the ability to coordinate field teams effectively, and the leadership presence to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and supervise industrial electrical crews on job sites, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
Coordinate daily work activities, manpower allocation, and material needs to maintain project schedules.
Install, oversee, and inspect industrial electrical systems including conduit systems, power distribution, motor controls, and related equipment.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.
Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and site-specific safety requirements.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Troubleshoot complex industrial electrical systems and guide team members through safe and effective repairs.
Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project progress and jobsite conditions.
Monitor jobsite conditions to ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
Minimum 8+ years of industrial electrical experience required.
Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role required.
Industrial electrical construction experience is required.
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
In-depth knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards.
OSHA 30-hour certification required.
Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including trenching, climbing, and working at heights.
Ability to work in industrial facilities, including confined spaces and around high-voltage systems.
Capable of standing for extended periods and working in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
