About This Position

Warehouse Team Member - 1st shift

Full-Time Warehouse Team Member
Scheduled Days: Monday through Friday
Shift: 1st
Start Time: 6:00am or 10:00 am

Quarterly Bonuses: As a valued team member, you will be eligible to receive quarterly performance bonuses

This position is based at our Wilkes-Barre, PA facility, where two operations are strategically housed under one roof to drive efficiency and collaboration.

Do it Best & True Value are ready to help you build your full-time, long-term career in our Hanover and Wilkes-Barre distribution center located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. We offer weekly pay, day shift (M-F), healthcare, quarterly bonus, generous company contributions toward retirement, and much more.

You'll have the opportunity to develop and grow your skill sets in a variety of logistics and product fulfillment roles. We provide training and certification to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, and powered pallet jacks.

As a Do it Best Group team member you can also expect:
  • Earn up to $22.55/hr
    • Wage dependent on experience, starting from $18.25 - $19.25 per hour
    • Eligible team members have the opportunity to earn an additional $0.68 - $1.68 per hour with their quarterly performance bonus
  • Regular weekday hours

Qualified candidates must be able to:
  • Repeatedly lift items ranging from 40-45 lbs
  • Occasionally lift up to 80-100 lbs
  • Assist in team lifts
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop
  • Perform work at floor level, waist level or above shoulder
  • NOTE: amount of time worked at each task varies, as needed
Preferred:
  • 0-1 years of experience, preferably in Distribution, Warehouse, Supply Chain, or similar industry.
Work Environment:
  • Generally, works in distribution warehouse environment and may be exposed to heat, cold and may work indoors and/or outdoors. May be exposed to chemicals that are routinely present in the Company's warehouse facilities.
  • The work is typically active and physical in nature and requires normal accessibility to all work sites required of the position. The position may require extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Wears personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety vests/Hi-Viz clothing, as required.
