Role Overview:
The People Team Leader (HR Manager) will play a key role in supporting the organization through a period of transition and growth following a recent acquisition. This role partners closely with Leadership and the Segment People Team to align People strategies with evolving business objectives while ensuring the effective delivery of core People operations including compensation, talent development strategies, recruiting, workforce planning, organizational design, leadership and development, and teammate engagement.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional People team across Talent Acquisition, People Experience, Benefits and Leadership Development.
- Partner with senior leadership to align People initiatives with evolving business objectives, particularly during periods of transition and integration.
- Assess, refine, and implement People policies, procedures, and systems to strengthen operational effectiveness, compliance, and scalability.
- Provide timely and balanced guidance to leaders and teammates on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation; manage reported concerns and facilitate constructive dialogue to support fair, consistent, and well-documented resolution.
- Translate business and segment priorities into actionable workforce planning and talent initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
- Support compensation and benefits practices to promote market alignment and internal equity, including participation in annual review processes.
- Support change management efforts during acquisitions and organizational transitions by coordinating integration activities, communicating updates, and assisting employees with the transition to new policies, procedures, payroll practices, and benefit plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Segment People Team and corporate People Team to ensure visibility, alignment, and coordination on change management, talent initiatives, and broader People programs.
- Facilitate change initiatives through thoughtful communication, leadership coaching, and teammate engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Prior experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations is considered a plus.
- Relevant education in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws and the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across enterprise-level planning and day-to-day execution, bringing structure and clarity in evolving environments.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with sound judgment while establishing practical processes and sustainable infrastructure.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders while remaining accessible and responsive to employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: overtime hours may be required as requested, controlled climate, office environment, required to sit for long periods of time, 8 or more hours per day, frequently required to use monitor, keyboard, mouse and phone.
