The Sr Program Manager will lead complex, multi-functional initiatives across the enterprise, translating strategic business objectives into actionable programs. This role drives end-to-end project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing interdependencies, risks, and resources to achieve defined business outcomes. You will influence stakeholders across supply chain, finance, IT, HR, R&D, and marketing, ensuring programs are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget. The position requires strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a collaborative approach to enable impactful decision-making. You will also contribute to the development of program management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide initiatives in a dynamic environment with high visibility and meaningful business impact.
Accountabilities:- Lead initiation, planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of complex, multi-faceted programs with defined objectives and outcomes.
- Develop project/program charters, including scope, interdependencies, benefits, risks, and assumptions, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Establish governance structures, define work plans, allocate resources, and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project/program goals.
- Integrate program efforts, continuously assess progress, and adjust strategies to manage conflicting priorities and drive results.
- Manage risk mitigation, escalation processes, and program financials, ensuring deliverables are met efficiently.
- Close programs effectively, capturing lessons learned, documenting results, and developing templates for future initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of best practices for enterprise program management and support continuous improvement across the PM community.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs or projects, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills to drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Excellent project management expertise, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy to evaluate program impact and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- PMP certification and experience in supply chain or related operations highly desirable.
- Experience in the food industry and understanding of end-to-end supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver, return) is a plus.
