The Systems Engineer will lead pre-sales technical engagements, design scalable and secure architectures, and deliver high-impact solutions across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments. You will work closely with both technical and executive stakeholders, translating business objectives into resilient data solutions that drive measurable outcomes. The position blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic influence, allowing you to shape solution architectures and contribute to long-term customer success. Accountabilities:

Lead complex pre-sales engagements, including discovery, solution design, architecture validation, and technical closure.
Translate customer business objectives into secure, scalable, and resilient technical architectures.
Deliver technical demonstrations and executive-level presentations highlighting business value and cyber risk mitigation.
Design, manage, and execute proof-of-concepts aligned with customer success criteria.
Collaborate with sales, partners, product, and engineering teams to influence solution architecture and outcomes.
Provide hands-on technical expertise across hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, SaaS platforms, virtualization, and enterprise storage systems.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in system design, integration, and pre-sales methodologies.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or senior technical leadership in enterprise environments.
Strong foundation in data resilience, infrastructure platforms, cloud services, networking, and security.
Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, and POCs.
Knowledge of data security, privacy, governance, and enterprise regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and senior IT leaders.
Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs), with the ability to articulate how resilient data supports AI initiatives.
Bonus: experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), containerized workloads (Kubernetes), and enterprise data protection solutions.
