Accountabilities:

As Lead Software Engineer (Back End), you will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable backend solutions on AWS infrastructure.
  • Lead technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and long-term system design with a focus on maintainability and performance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver engaging digital experiences for clients.
  • Mentor engineers, resolve technical blockers, and ensure adherence to coding and operational standards.
  • Own and maintain integrations between AWS services and Salesforce, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including encryption, access control, and data protection measures.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, testing strategies, and operational excellence across projects.
Requirements:

Candidates should have:

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Node.js.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex backend solutions in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services: Lambda, RDS, EC2, EKS, and S3.
  • Previous experience integrating AWS with Salesforce and familiarity with middleware tools (MuleSoft is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and security practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is desirable but not required.
