Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma, UTMB Student enrolled at least half time.

Job Summary:

This position will be an on-campus position at the Galveston campus.

Job Duties:

• Review archived tissue blocks according to departmental guidelines.
• Verify eligibility for discard based on project criteria.
• Accurately document reviewed and discarded materials.
• Assist with proper disposal of tissue blocks in accordance with safety and regulatory.

Standards

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of archive storage areas.
• Handle materials with confidentiality and professionalism.

MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performs other related duties as required.

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience.
