Summary: The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and executing various marketing activities, with a primary focus on social media marketing, event planning, and tracking marketing campaign performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, analytical and able to handle multiple responsibilities, including social media management, event coordination, timeline management, and sales reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Social Media Marketing:
- Develop and manage the social media calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content across all platforms
- Create, schedule, and post content on social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
- Monitor social media trends, track engagement metrics, and analyse performance to optimise content strategies
- Responsible for both organic and paid content across all platforms
- Event Planning:
- Coordinate and execute marketing event planning details, including consumer shows, product launches, and promotional events
- Handle event logistics such as venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with marketing goals and brand messaging
- Timeline Management:
- Maintain a comprehensive timeline of marketing activities, including campaign launches, content go-lives, and event deadlines
- Sales Data Reporting:
- Collect and analyse sales data to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and report on ROI and conversion rates monthly
- Promotional Materials:
- Ensure that all materials are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the company’s brand guidelines
- Order and track all promotional items ensuring quantities are enough for events
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, social media management, or a related role
- Proficiency in all social media platforms, content management systems, and basic analytics tools
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in event planning
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to be in-office in Fort Myers during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8-5)
- Some weekend/event work and travel may be required several times a year
