About This Position
Job Summary: NEFCO is in a period of rapid and exciting growth, which brings both opportunity and complexity. The Integration Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and governing complex business and systems integration initiatives, including acquisitions and enterprise platform implementations. This role owns day-to-day integration delivery across people, process, and technology workstreams—ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and stakeholders remain aligned to a clear integration roadmap.
The Integration Project Manager partners closely with executive sponsors, functional leaders, IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to drive disciplined execution using NEFCO’s Program Management Office (PMO) standards, tools, and cadence.
This role provides direct support to the Director, Program Management Office (PMO), and will interface heavily with VP of Finance and Finance Transformation Controller. It requires exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfort working in Microsoft Teams, Planner, and Smartsheet. The successful candidate can take clear directions while independently managing high volumes of information in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities & Requirements:
Integration Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain end-to-end integration project plans with clearly defined milestones, owners, dependencies, and deliverables
- Drive execution across multiple functional workstreams (IT, Finance, Operations, Sales)
- Ensure integrations follow a structured, stage-gated approach aligned to NEFCO’s integration playbooks and PMO standards
- Manage cross-workstream dependencies and proactively resolve conflicts that could impact timeline or outcomes
Governance, Reporting & Controls
- Establish and maintain standard integration governance artifacts, including:
- Project plans
- Status dashboards
- RAID (Risk, Action, Issue, Decision) logs
- Executive reporting and steering committee materials
- Lead recurring integration cadence meetings and ensure accurate documentation of decisions, risks, and actions
- Escalate risks and issues with clear recommendations and decision options for leadership
Business Process & Systems Integration
- Coordinate business process discovery, future-state design, testing, training, and go-live readiness activities
- Ensure functional sign-offs are obtained for data readiness, process readiness, training completion, and go-live criteria
- Partner with IT and functional leads to support ERP integration, data conversions, and post-implementation stabilization
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on business and systems integrations
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility
- Strong understanding of ERP implementations, data conversion, and enterprise business processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience supporting acquisitions or large-scale enterprise transformations
- Background in distribution, manufacturing, or industrial services environments
