Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for performing entry-level production tasks in the Raw Balloons Department. This role supports the manufacturing team by following established processes to produce high-quality balloon products.

The Manufacturing Technician I contributes to daily operations by preparing materials, assisting with equipment operation, and following documented work instructions. This role ensures smooth workflow, compliance with safety and quality standards, and is designed to build technical skills for future growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support balloon manufacturing
  • Prepare raw materials and load them into production equipment
  • Identify and install the correct tooling on the machine.
  • Operate and monitor basic equipment under supervision.
  • Inspect materials and products for quality compliance.
  • Record production data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Performs line clearance, cleaning, and setup tasks with assistance.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:

Education / Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical coursework or certificate preferred but not required.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to complete accurate documentation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technical skills.
