The team at Dentrix DentalCare located in Calgary, Alberta are looking for a Hygiene Coordinator on a full-time basis. We are a fast-paced, high volume dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and an outstanding patient experience that our patients have come to expect over our 35 years of business.

The ideal Hygiene Coordinator for our team will be highly motivated to manage the hygiene department by efficiently scheduling patient appointments, maintaining patient records, ensuring proper recall systems are in place, and coordinating communication between patients, hygienists, and the front office to optimize the hygiene schedule, maximize practice productivity and limit downtime. Their key duties include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, Updating dental insurance, greeting patients and handling administration tasks related to hygiene appointments.

SCHEDULE:

• 35-40 hours 5 days week
• Monday 9-4, Tuesday 9-5, Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 9-4, Friday 9-4. 1 Saturday a month 9-3

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 1-3 year of experience as a Hygiene Coordinator is required
• Strong organizational & multitasking skills in a fast paced environment.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
• A team player who contributes to a positive workplace culture.
