Summary Objective
The Senior Value Stream Coach is a senior Operational Excellence leader responsible for driving Lean transformation across the manufacturing site. This role partners with plant leadership to develop a continuous improvement culture, build systems that drive performance, and enhance customer value through waste reduction and process optimization.
Essential Functions
- Coach and develop leaders at all levels to build a world-class Lean enterprise
- Develop and mentor Operational Excellence professionals and change leaders
- Lead daily Gemba walks and drive adoption of Daily Management systems
- Improve SQDIP metrics through enhanced problem-solving capabilities
- Drive transformation through Value Stream Analysis and Mission Control systems
- Develop value stream maps and future state plans to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times
- Partner with Product Growth Teams to enhance customer value
- Lead and facilitate transformation initiatives focused on margin expansion and growth
- Deliver Lean training programs (A3, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, visual management, mistake-proofing)
- Support rapid improvement events (Kaizen) including pre-work and follow-up
- Ensure adherence to standard work and process discipline
- Support new product introduction and cross-functional projects
- Promote and support EHS goals and safe work practices

Supervisory Responsibility
This position provides leadership and development for Operational Excellence and continuous improvement team members.
Work Location
This position will work onsite in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.
Work Environment
Combination of office and manufacturing floor with regular Gemba walks and hands-on engagement.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with flexibility as needed.
Travel
Minimal Travel required.
Required Education and Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Lean manufacturing experience; strong leadership background.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Advanced Lean certifications and experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Proven ability to drive transformation and influence leadership.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
