Maintenance (EVS) at MODOC NATION OF OKLAHOMA – MIAMI, Oklahoma

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is under the direct supervision of Maintenance Manager and is located at The Stables Casino. This position preforms EVS operations. Ensures the maintenance and safety of the casino and public area standards are met, solves problems.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Conducts daily tours of all areas to ensure the cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the Casino and public areas
• Knows safe work habits and ensures that team is following safety protocols
• Maintains all work areas and ensures environmental services equipment is free of safety violations
• Responds to maintenance or grounds keeping requests from other departments
• Identifies and reports cleaning supplies and equipment needs to Maintenance Manager
• Assures prompt, courteous service to all guests, internal and external

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate and maintain all types of maintenance equipment and/or tools
• Ability to use equipment associated with position; including but not limited to the use of vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms and floor machines
• Reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to management
• Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Modoc Nation Gaming License
• May be subject to criminal background investigation
• Proficient data entry skills required
• Must possess in high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:

• Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
• Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
