This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data, and contact center technologies, supporting mission-critical communication systems used across healthcare revenue cycle operations. You will work in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on building, optimizing, and integrating telephony and analytics solutions that improve customer and patient experiences. The position involves hands-on development with contact center platforms, APIs, and data visualization tools, particularly within Five9 ecosystems. You will contribute to designing scalable solutions, improving system reliability, and enabling data-driven decision-making through advanced reporting and dashboards. The role requires strong technical depth combined with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing telephony and data-driven engineering solutions that support contact center and healthcare communication systems, including:
- Designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining Five9 Contact Center solutions, including Admin Console, analytics, reporting, dashboards, and integrations
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions and system designs
- Developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and BI solutions using Power BI and related tools to support operational and executive decision-making
- Implementing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure performance, security, scalability, and compliance of telephony platforms
- Building and optimizing APIs, integrations, and contact flows using scripting and automation to improve system efficiency and user experience
- Conducting system analysis, troubleshooting complex telephony and data issues, and proactively identifying performance improvements
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in software engineering, telephony systems, and data-driven solution development, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience working with Five9 Contact Center solutions, including configuration, administration, reporting, and analytics
- Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, including SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, and related telephony protocols
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools, including DAX and data modeling
- Proficiency in APIs and integration development using REST/SOAP services
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or PHP
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with scripting, automation, and contact center workflow optimization is a strong plus
- Competitive salary range of $111,800 to $192,900 based on experience
