What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Manager FP&A, Commercial to join Index Exchange, one of the world’s largest independent supply-side platforms providing a marketplace for Digital Advertising. Index Exchange is a global company with offices in 15 countries and has experienced rapid growth. This role will build and oversee a commercial analyst team and partner with our commercial executives and their teams to focus on driving growth with our publishers and media buyers. This role will work out of our Toronto, Canada Office and report to Senior Director, Commercial Finance & Analytics.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Drive incremental revenue growth by supporting the commercial team with analysis, insights and reporting to drive increased spend with existing clients
- Coach and mentor a commercial analyst team
- Support exchange wide monitoring of performance to determine the root cause of any unexpected variances and partner with the commercial team on corrective actions to resolve
- Put in place a business management system to align on drivers or performance (leading indicators) and results (lagging indicators)
- Support P&L accountability by working with regional analysts to surface opportunities and ensure the local teams are driving growth
- Support operational projects through Index’s project management system by coordinating deliverables across the commercial analyst team to help drive results
- Partner with operational teams and coordinate all commercial inputs required for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process working with the corporate finance team
- Assist with deal structuring, pricing and overall positioning of commercial opportunities to support the value optimization
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting, finance and FP&A experience in a combination of Big Four public accounting firms and in large multi-national companies
- CPA or significant finance & accounting experience preferred
- Project management experience
- Strong leadership, mentorship and communication skills
- Strong analytical and data manipulation skills
- Experience working with accounting and BI systems, data warehouses and implementing best practices of data management/governance
- Experience working within or supporting a business management system (financial results and operational KPIs) within a global company Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
Salary: The base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $155,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
