This role sits at the intersection of real-world data science, clinical research, and strategic consulting within a global life sciences environment. You will be responsible for shaping and executing regional strategies to access and leverage real-world data (RWD) to support clinical development, regulatory submissions, and evidence generation. Acting as a senior leader in the European region, you will build and manage partnerships with data providers, health systems, and registries while ensuring data is used in a compliant and value-driven way. You will also contribute directly to client-facing proposals, helping position innovative RWD solutions that strengthen scientific and commercial outcomes. The role requires a strong mix of scientific expertise, commercial acumen, and stakeholder leadership. You will operate in a highly collaborative, international environment where innovation in data and evidence generation is central to improving patient outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • You define and execute regional strategies for real-world data (RWD) access and utilization, ensuring alignment with scientific, regulatory, and commercial objectives.
  • You lead the development of client-ready RWD strategy materials and actively contribute to bid defense meetings and proposal discussions.
  • You identify, evaluate, and onboard data partners such as health systems, registries, and data vendors to expand RWD capabilities across Europe.
  • You oversee vendor and partner governance, including performance monitoring, ROI assessments, and relationship optimization.
  • You collaborate with procurement, legal, privacy, and technology teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and efficient data access frameworks.
  • You contribute to infrastructure and platform design discussions to ensure regional requirements are reflected in system architecture.
  • You monitor industry trends and regulatory developments in RWD and RWE, ensuring strategies remain innovative and compliant.

Requirements:

  • You bring 10+ years of experience in clinical research, CRO, pharma, or data-driven healthcare environments with strong exposure to RWD/RWE.
  • You have deep understanding of clinical development processes, healthcare ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks in Europe.
  • You are experienced with major data standards and models such as CDISC, OMOP, FHIR, LOINC, MedDRA, or SNOMED.
  • You demonstrate strong ability to design and apply RWD solutions to clinical, regulatory, or commercial use cases.
  • You have proven experience managing external partnerships with data providers, health systems, or scientific collaborators.
  • You possess strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, ROI evaluation, and cost assessment of data-driven solutions.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are able to translate complex scientific concepts into clear strategic recommendations.
  • You are a strong leader with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A Master’s or advanced degree in biomedical informatics, public health, life sciences, or a related field is highly desirable.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level expertise.
  • Flexible working model supporting remote work and work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact global clinical research and innovation initiatives.
  • Strong focus on professional development, continuous learning, and scientific growth.
  • International, collaborative environment with leading experts in clinical and real-world data.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge methodologies including AI-driven RWE and advanced data analytics.
  • Opportunity to shape strategic decisions that directly impact patient outcomes and healthcare innovation.
