About This Position


Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, secure, and efficient handling of all materials entering and leaving the facility. This role partners closely with department leaders, vendors, and internal stakeholders to balance inventory accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Supervisor leads, by example, promotes a safety-first culture, and drives continuous improvement and quality across warehouse processes.

Accountabilities:
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop, implement, and enforce warehouse policies and procedures
  • Ensure effective, safe use of warehouse equipment and compliance with safety standards
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and develop warehouse team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all warehouse activities
  • Control inventory levels through physical counts and reconciliation with inventory systems and timely material transactions
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements
  • Collaborate with department leaders and vendors to support inventory and cost objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control practices
  • Proficient in inventory systems and data reconciliation
  • Forklift operation capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people leadership skills; collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems; Dynamics 365 experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff
  • Strong time management and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Key Performance Indicators
  • Safety compliance and near miss reporting
  • Inventory Accuracy (cycle counts, adjustments, etc.)
  • Excess and obsolete inventory
  • On-Time Receiving and Accuracy
  • OTD and accuracy of kitted materials to downstream departments
  • Labor Productivity
