Altercare of Navarre is in search of an experienced (at least one year) CNA | STNA that has the desire to become a Certified Medication Aide.
Altercare will provide the avenue to help you obtain your Certified Medication Aide License through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Certified Medication Aide Position Summary:
This Certified Medication Adie will be a CNA - STNA who will work under the direction of the Charge Nurse and will administer prescription medication as well as perform other duties.
This individual will maintain full knowledge of duties, responsibilities and accountability and shall act in accordance with the laws pertaining to administration of medication by a certified medication aide. The Certified Medication Aide will document in the medical record and maintain
confidentially.
Requirements for this position: A minimum of one year experience as a CNA - STNA, and completed an Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Training Program with an active, unrestricted, Medication Aide Certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
