Job Summary

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk the Title Clerk is responsible for managing all paperwork related to vehicle ownership transfers. This includes processing titles, registrations, and license plates for a busy automotive dealership. The role ensures compliance with state laws and requires meticulous attention to detail when preparing, submitting, and tracking documents for both new and used car sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Process titles, registrations, and tax documents for all vehicles.
• Submit legal transfer work to DMV and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Verify payoff amounts, lienholder payments, and accuracy of applications.
• Prepare payoff checks, dealer trades, and Certificates of Origin.
• Maintain title records and report outstanding issues to management.
• Post vehicle sales/purchases and process warranties/contracts.
• Stay current on title regulations and train team members as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous automotive or accounting experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
