Position Title: Catering Team Member

Location: Alma College, Alma MI

Salary: $14 to $16 per hour (plus tips)

We are seeking creative, upbeat, and service driven individuals to join our AMAZING Catering Team at Alma College. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the Contract Dining Services Industry. In this position you will be part of a creative team with responsibilities to include set up, service, and breakdown of catering events ranging from casual lunches to black tie events.

This is a great opportunity to show off your creativity and attention to detail by perfecting beautiful presentations of food and displays while providing AMAZING service to our Guests and Hosts. Catering Team Members create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with unforgettable hospitality and guest experience focus. Our catering events range from small casual business lunches to extravagant black-tie events.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a SMILE is required!

Requirements:

• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics

• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning

• Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed

• Hospitality-driven

• Able to work and thrive in a team environment
