What We Need:

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join McCLARIN Composites at our corporate headquarters in Hanover, PA. This position ensures on-time delivery of products through coordination, facilitation, and documentation of outbound product shipments. Communication link from product completion through shipping & material handlers. Audits/verifies all shipments for accuracy before trucks are loaded and released.

Requirements:

Are you:

  • Someone with the ability to organize and plan work effectively to meet goals and objectives.
  • Someone with high level organization skills; ability to multi-task in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Someone comfortable with computers including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

A Day in the Life of:

  • Responsible for working with shipping clerks & picker/packer to hit shipping schedules.
  • Maintains communication with internal departments regarding unscheduled shipping delays and changes.
  • Update/Maintain shipping profiles for each customer.
  • Ensure based upon customer shipping profiles that all customer requirements are met (i.e.: bar codes).
  • Manage customer portals for shipment requirements.
  • Schedule all trucks through portals or dispatch as required per customer shipping profiles.
  • Ensures accuracy of all audited shipments & rescans/reverifies if a change was made to a verified shipment.
  • Run/Maintain Order Manager & Open Order Reports as shipments dictate including back-order management.
  • Processes various paperwork associated with outbound shipments.
  • Submit all shipping documents to Accounting for invoicing daily.
  • Back up & assist shipping clerks whenever/wherever possible.
  • Assists shipping department with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What Makes You Qualified:

  • HS Diploma/GED or equivalent industrial experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in shipping and receiving

Must Haves:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
