Overview

Lucayan Technology Solutions is seeking Software Developers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions within the IRS Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Multiple positions are available. These roles will focus on Power Platform development, .NET applications, automation, and SharePoint integration. The ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, automation scripting, and supporting federal or large enterprise environments with high compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Write, maintain, and enhance .NET code (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework).
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, system administration, and workflow efficiency.
• Customize SharePoint lists and develop model-driven PowerApps solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across M365 services and applications.
• Collaborate with IRS SMEs and project teams to ensure solutions meet IRS-specific compliance, security, and operational requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with focus on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform in large enterprise or federal environments.
• Experience supporting federal government clients or high-compliance environments; IRS experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in .NET development, including C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SharePoint Administration and Power Platform integration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a remote, compliance-focused federal environment.

Security Clearance & Training Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.
• Must complete all IRS-required security, privacy, and compliance training.
• Must adhere to federal cybersecurity and organizational protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement in M365 environments.
• Microsoft certifications such as:
• • Microsoft 365 Developer Associate
  • Power Platform Developer or Functional Consultant certifications
• Experience working with distributed teams in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with federal frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust.
