- Define and execute the AI/ML strategy for the modernization program.
- Provide strategic recommendations on tools, frameworks, and cloud-native AI services.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into development workflows.
- Lead the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of ML models.
- Drive adoption of MLOps best practices within DevSecOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define AI-powered features.
- Evaluate and recommend AI-assisted developer tools.
- Ensure all AI/ML solutions adhere to federal Responsible AI principles.
- Develop and maintain AI/ML architecture documentation and training materials.
- Serve as a senior advisor on AI governance and data ethics.
- 10+ years of specialized experience in information systems.
- 5+ years in AI/ML solution design and data engineering.
- Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques.
- Strong skills in Python and ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud AI services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
- Knowledge of MLOps pipelines and CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Understanding of data governance and ethical AI practices.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively.
