This role is focused on managing and growing strategic client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention. You will serve as the primary point of contact for top-tier accounts, overseeing contract management, renewals, and proactive engagement to identify upsell opportunities. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, the ability to navigate complex escalations, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams. You will leverage industry insights and client knowledge to drive strategic outcomes while maintaining operational excellence. - Manage long-term relationships with strategic clients, acting as the primary contact for account health and satisfaction
- Execute quarterly or annual business reviews for top-tier accounts and lead the end-to-end contract renewal process
- Identify upsell opportunities and new service needs based on client usage, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Oversee contract compliance, audits, and service level adherence, providing strategic recommendations as needed
- Serve as escalation point for client issues, coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems and implement preventative measures
- Collect and analyze client data to inform forecasts, product improvements, and strategic planning
- Provide mentorship, training, and process documentation to support team efficiency and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of account management experience, managing clients at both business owner and executive levels
- Proven experience with contract management, including renewals, addendums, and amendments
- Ability to develop and deliver strategic presentations to executive stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite; CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and ticketing tools (Jira, Azure)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Adaptability to change, collaborative mindset, and strong client-focused orientation
- Preferred: experience in healthcare or technical account management, SaaS sales background
