Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants who are eager to make a difference in the daily lives of clients through attentive, non-medical support. In this role, you’ll assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and light housekeeping in a home care setting. As part of our Living Assistance Program, you’ll help ensure clients feel safe, respected, and supported in their day-to-day routines.

This position includes a requirement to work one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance with grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders

Engage clients in safe, meaningful activities and companionship

Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment

Assist with transportation for errands and appointments

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, client-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and maintained

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Ability to write legibly, spell correctly, and perform basic math

Six months of experience as a caregiver in home care preferred

Valid California driver’s license, good driving record, and automobile insurance

Access to a reliable vehicle for home visits

Completion of Live Scan required
