This strategic leadership role sits at the center of global travel distribution, shaping how content, technology, and commercial models come together across key industry partners. You will oversee relationships with global distribution systems (GDS) and aggregators, driving alignment on strategy, content optimization, and commercial performance. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring strong analytical ability and commercial acumen in a highly dynamic, global environment. You will work closely with internal product, technology, and commercial teams to enhance customer value and improve distribution efficiency. Acting as both a strategist and operator, you will influence how travel content is delivered and consumed at scale. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in complex, data-driven, and partnership-focused ecosystems.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute distribution strategies with GDS partners and aggregators to optimize content availability and customer experience.
  • Manage and strengthen strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment on commercial objectives and joint roadmap priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve distribution models, content delivery, and commercial structures in response to market evolution.
  • Collaborate with internal product, technology, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on distribution goals and initiatives.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to generate actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Oversee content-related issue resolution and implement solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Ensure effective cost management and financial oversight of distribution-related initiatives.
  • Develop and refine commercial models to support evolving marketplace needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering performance, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in travel distribution, ideally with exposure to GDS ecosystems and aggregator platforms.
  • Proven background in commercial strategy, product collaboration, or technology-enabled distribution models.
  • Deep understanding of the business travel industry and its operational and commercial dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive transformation across complex organizations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience leading teams, including direct reports, in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones in a globally distributed organization.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from approximately $110,600 to $205,400 depending on experience and location.
  • Eligibility for annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
  • Participation in equity incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans and financial wellbeing support.
  • Paid parental leave and adoption assistance programs.
  • Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Access to extensive learning platforms and professional development resources.
  • Travel perks including discounts on flights, hotels, cruises, and rentals.
  • Inclusive culture with global employee resource groups and wellbeing initiatives.
