Description:

At Palm Aire Country Club, great service doesn’t just happen in the dining room, it happens behind the scenes, in the way rooms are set, details are handled and timing comes together seamlessly. This role sits right at the center of it all. Not quite part-time, not quite full-time, this position offers consistent hours with built-in variety. You’ll move between food running during service and setting up and breaking down event spaces, helping bring everything from casual member dining to large-scale club events to life.

One shift might have you delivering plates during a busy lunch, the next resetting a room for an evening event and sometimes both in the same day. While our pace follows the season and event calendar, this is not a seasonal position. We are looking for someone who brings structure, consistency and reliability to the role, someone the team can count on year-round. We are also not a late-night operation, most shifts wrap at a reasonable hour, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys hospitality without the typical late-night schedule.

Some days move quickly, others give you room to reset, but there is always a standard to uphold. Requirements: What You’ll Do
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to members quickly, accurately and with attention to presentation and timing
  • Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure orders arrive together and meet club standards
  • Set up event spaces from the ground up, tables, chairs, linens, place settings and all the finishing touches
  • Break down rooms efficiently after events and reset them for the next function or service
  • Flip spaces between events, sometimes on tight timelines, while keeping everything organized and consistent
  • Keep an eye on details, from food presentation to room appearance and speak up when something isn’t right
  • Support private events, banquets and club functions to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish
  • Jump in where needed because in a good team, everyone pulls their weight

Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, chairs and equipment
  • Availability for weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred, not required
