About This Position

Senior Accountant

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant in the United States.

This role is part of a fast-growing, high-performance finance organization where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations across multiple entities. You will be responsible for supporting month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a dynamic SaaS environment. The position involves close collaboration with FP&A, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial insights. You will also contribute to international accounting processes, including multi-entity and multi-currency operations. With exposure to both operational accounting and process improvement initiatives, this role offers a strong opportunity to grow within a modern, tech-driven finance function. It is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and enjoys working with evolving systems and global teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting packages.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial trends and discrepancies.
  • Manage accounting activities for international subsidiaries, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency translations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate accrual accounting and collaborate with FP&A and business teams to validate estimates and resolve variances.
  • Reconcile cash accounts, including third-party payment processors, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation for auditors.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements aimed at scalability, efficiency, and automation in accounting operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in SaaS, startup, or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across finance and non-finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote-first, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred: CPA certification (or in progress), Big 4/public accounting experience, and familiarity with NetSuite or multi-currency accounting.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $112,600 to $161,900 USD depending on location and experience.
  • Equity eligibility and performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Retirement savings plan with company support.
  • Flexible PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave programs.
  • Wellness benefits including mental health support and employee assistance programs.
  • Remote-first culture with flexibility and strong collaboration across global teams.
  • Professional development support, including training, career growth opportunities, and tuition reimbursement.
