This role is part of a fast-growing, high-performance finance organization where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations across multiple entities. You will be responsible for supporting month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a dynamic SaaS environment. The position involves close collaboration with FP&A, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial insights. You will also contribute to international accounting processes, including multi-entity and multi-currency operations. With exposure to both operational accounting and process improvement initiatives, this role offers a strong opportunity to grow within a modern, tech-driven finance function. - Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting packages.
- Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial trends and discrepancies.
- Manage accounting activities for international subsidiaries, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency translations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accrual accounting and collaborate with FP&A and business teams to validate estimates and resolve variances.
- Reconcile cash accounts, including third-party payment processors, and investigate discrepancies.
- Support external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation for auditors.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements aimed at scalability, efficiency, and automation in accounting operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in SaaS, startup, or fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across finance and non-finance teams.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote-first, dynamic environment.
- Preferred: CPA certification (or in progress), Big 4/public accounting experience, and familiarity with NetSuite or multi-currency accounting.
