Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant provides highlevel administrative and operational support to executive leadership, enabling effective governance, decisionmaking, and organizational performance. This role serves as a trusted partner to the Executive Team, Volunteer Officials, and the President/CEO by managing executive operations, coordinating priorities, and handling sensitive information with discretion. The Executive Assistant operates with a high degree of independence, judgment, and professionalism in a fastpaced, confidential, and missiondriven environment. This position is required to be in-office.

Responsibilities
A Day in the Life…
As an Executive Assistant, you will:
- Serve as a strategic administrative partner to executive leadership, supporting executive effectiveness and workflow management.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for executive, board, and committee activities, including preparation, documentation, and followup.
- Support governance, regulatory, and compliancerelated processes in alignment with credit union and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain executivelevel communications, reports, and materials with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Act as a professional liaison between executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate executiverelated travel, expense, and administrative processes.
- Maintain organized records in accordance with confidentiality and retention requirements.
- Support special projects and crossfunctional initiatives that advance organizational goals.
- Represent the Executive Team and Arkansas Federal’s values in all interactions.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt and not afraid of challenges.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 0-2 years of administrative, office, or professional support experience.
Preferrable Skills:
- Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or governing bodies.
- Experience working in a credit union, financial institution, or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms and collaborative work tools.
- College coursework or degree.
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP)
- Preferred for Executive Assistant I / II
- Required for advancement to Senior Executive Assistant III
Work Environment:
- Primarily officebased with prolonged computer and desk work.
- Exempt role requiring flexibility beyond standard business hours to support executive and board responsibilities.
- Occasional evening meetings or limited travel may be required.
- Work is performed in an office setting.
- Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to walk a reasonable distance.
