2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Injection Molding Manufacturing at Elevate Solutions Group LLC – Austell, Georgia

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team as an onsite, hands-on owner for overseeing nightly production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. This role leads shift personnel, coordinates with maintenance and support teams, and ensures efficient use of systems and resources to meet production goals. 2nd shift hours are Mon – Fri, 3pm – 11:30pm.

Overview and Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Supervise and coordinate all 2nd shift production activities
• Ensure production targets, efficiency, and throughput goals are achieved
• Monitor line performance and address issues impacting output
• Coordinate staffing and adjust labor as needed to meet demand

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Respond immediately to safety concerns and escalate when appropriate
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper use of equipment

Quality Assurance

• Ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards
• Stop production when quality issues are identified
• Partner with Quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop shift employees
• Address performance concerns and escalate disciplinary issues as needed
• Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Maintenance Coordination

• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when necessary
• Minimize downtime through proactive communication and follow-up

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production, inventory, and performance metrics
• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting for shift activities
• Review and analyze reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (required)
• Ability to manage production, safety, and personnel issues in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• DELMIAWorks experience highly preferred
• Experience in plastic injection molding and/or assembly operations
• Familiarity with manufacturing automation and material handling systems
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Work Environment

Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
