Job Summary
-
In a physician practice setting ensures patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and office procedures. Assists providers with all aspects of direct patient care. Performs procedures and other tasks involved in patient care. Triages patient calls that come into the office.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement
-
Must be a graduate of a an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Minimum Experience Requirement
-
Two years prior experience in a physician office preferred.

Minimum License Requirement
-
Active CMA and current BLS certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire. experience preferred.

Physical Requirement/Working Conditions
-
Requires the ability to stoop, bend, kneel and the ability to take and read vital signs and the ability to assist patients on and off of exam tables, as well as assisting patients from wheel chairs. External applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions, either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case by case basis.
